**Social Perception:** Investigates how we form impressions of others.

. **Social Cognition:** Analyzes how we process social information, including attitudes and beliefs.

 **Social Influence:** Studies the effects of social factors on our behavior, such as conformity and obedience.

. **Intergroup Relations:** Explores interactions between individuals and groups, focusing on issues like prejudice and conflict.

. **Prosocial Behavior:** Examines helping behavior and altruism.

. **Aggression:** Investigates the causes and consequences of aggressive behavior.




**Classic Experiments:**


- **Asch's Conformity Experiment:** Demonstrated that individuals often conform to group opinions.


- **Milgram's Obedience Experiment:** Revealed a tendency to obey authority figures, even against personal morals.


- **Stanford Prison Experiment:** Highlighted how quickly social roles can change behavior.
